The RM3 Grand II wooden keyboard delivers a realistic touch that has never been experienced on a MIDI keyboard. The VPC1 can be bus-powered by simply connecting it to a computer with a USB cable, and the MIDI terminal also functions as a MIDI interface. Included are three pedals, the same three pedals used on a grand piano. This maximizes the capabilities of the software piano instrument.

Built-in "touch curves dedicated to piano sound sources" created in collaboration between Kawai and famous software piano sound source manufacturers. Using the VPC Editor software, you can edit the touch curves, adjust the velocity of each of the 88 keys, and set MIDI routing and other settings. There are no knobs or wheels on the VPC1.
